Patricia Carloss Irving gave up a successful career as a freelance commercial photographer first to study Public Art (First Class Honours from Surrey University) and then focus on printmaking techniques (Master’s degree from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge).

Patricia paints, draws and makes prints in a variety of styles and mediums often using a mixture of techniques.

Highly coloured paintings ranging from expressionist to abstract and figurative drawings predominate in Patricia’s early work but experience of printmaking has added a greater degree of tonality to her current output and landscapes are more in evidence.
