Printmaking
“My prints are multi-layered and often a combination of several printmaking disciplines - silkscreen overlays etching and photo-etching overlays mixed-media collograph.”

This is a long way from printmaking as a way of reproducing the same image many times: each of these pieces tend to be unique although the general form can be reproduced a limited number of times creating sets which will appeal to interior designers and stylists.

Public Art
“Public spaces often demand very large canvasses and strong colourful expressionistic forms which can appeal to a wide and diverse audience: it is often easier to get committee agreement for abstract than for realistic pieces. I’m particularly at home in this world.”

Patricia has large canvasses available to loan and is available to take commissions for public spaces. She has works hanging in a number of public buildings (including - university administration buildings and the Cecil B. DeMille Building at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles)

Nude drawings
Patricia is a regular at life classes both to develop new techniques and to create works for sale. She excels at rapid impressionistic sketches and particularly enjoys capturing the erotic in the poses of larger and older models of both genders.
